Amanda Brooks

Amanda Brooks (born June 22, 1981) is an American actress known for her roles in various films. In 2007, she starred in the film D-War, followed by her appearance in the 2006 film Cut Off and her leading role in the 2005 film River's End. She also appeared as Gina in the film The Canyons. Amanda is the daughter of Joseph Brooks, the songwriter behind the hit song 'You Light Up My Life.' However, she was estranged from him. In 2013, her comments in support of her incarcerated brother Nicholas gained media attention.
