Ann Magnuson Biography
Ann Magnuson (born January 4, 1956) is an American actress, performance artist, and nightclub performer. She gained recognition as a founding member of the 1980s band Bongwater and starred in the ABC sitcom Anything but Love (1989–92). Magnuson has appeared in several films, including The Hunger (1983), Making Mr. Right (1987), Clear and Present Danger (1994), Panic Room (2002), and One More Time (2015). Born in Charleston, West Virginia, Magnuson attended Holz Elementary and George Washington High School before moving to New York City. There, she performed at Club 57 and the Mudd Club in Manhattan in the late 1970s and early 1980s, creating memorable characters such as Anoushka, a Soviet lounge singer.
