Barry Atsma

Barry Atsma (born 29 December 1972) is a Dutch actor known for his roles in various movies and TV shows. He gained prominence in the Netherlands through his work in the TV series Rozengeur & Wodka Lime (2001–2005) and the film The Black Book. Atsma has received accolades for his performances, including a Golden Calf and a Rembrandt Award. Internationally, he is recognized for his roles in the 2014 British film Hector and the Search for Happiness and the 2018 British TV series The Split. Atsma was born in Bromley, South London, and grew up in various countries due to his father's work. He studied drama at Utrecht School of the Arts and graduated in 1996. Atsma has two daughters from his previous relationship with actress Izaira Kersten and two daughters with his current partner, actress Noortje Herlaar.
