Betty Garrett

Betty Garrett (May 23, 1919 – February 12, 2011) was an American actress, comedian, singer, and dancer. She began her career on Broadway before signing a film contract with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. Garrett appeared in several musical films and then returned to Broadway. She made guest appearances on various television series, but gained recognition for her roles in the 1970s sitcoms All in the Family and Laverne & Shirley. In addition to her television work, Garrett also appeared in shows like The Golden Girls, Grey's Anatomy, Boston Public, and Becker.
