Brandon Perea (born May 25, 1995) is an American actor of Filipino and Puerto Rican descent. He is best known for his portrayal of Alfonso Sosa on the TV show The OA and his breakthrough role as Angel Torres in Jordan Peele's 2022 science fiction horror film Nope. Perea, who was born and raised in Chicago, moved to Los Angeles at the age of 16 to pursue his dreams. In addition to his acting career, he is skilled in jamskating (breakdancing on roller-skates), dancing, and BMXing. Perea has been breakdancing since his childhood and holds the record for becoming a Pro in Jamskating at the youngest age in history.
