Byron Mann Biography
Byron Mann is a Hong Kong-American actor known for his roles in various films and television shows. Born in Hong Kong to a Chinese American mother and a Chinese father, he was raised bilingual in English and Cantonese, and is also fluent in Mandarin and some Thai. Mann attended the Diocesan Boys' School in Hong Kong, where he actively participated in community theatre as both an actor and writer. He later moved to California, where he earned a degree in philosophy from UCLA and attended USC Law School. However, he took a sabbatical after the first year to pursue acting. Mann's notable roles include Ryu in Street Fighter, Silver Lion in The Man with the Iron Fists, and Admiral Augusto Nguyen on The Expanse. He also portrayed Uncle Six in the Netflix series Wu Assassins and Chang on Hell on Wheels.
