Deborah Chow
Deborah Chow is a Canadian filmmaker, television director, and screenwriter. She gained recognition for her independent films as well as her work on Star Wars television. Her notable short films, Daypass (2002) and The Hill (2004), have received awards at international film festivals. In 2010, she wrote and directed her first feature film, The High Cost of Living. Chow has directed various television projects, including the TV movie adaptation of V.C. Andrews' novel Flowers in the Attic and episodes of Copper, Murdoch Mysteries, Reign, Beauty and the Beast, and Mr. Robot. She is known for her directorial work on the Star Wars series The Mandalorian (2019) and the upcoming series Obi-Wan Kenobi (2022). Chow, who grew up in Toronto, Ontario, is the daughter of Chinese parents who emigrated from Australia.
