Elizabeth Henstridge

Elizabeth Frances Henstridge is an English actress and model known for her role as Jemma Simmons in the ABC series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. She was born on September 11, 1987, in Sheffield, England. Henstridge attended Meadowhead School and King Edward VII School before graduating from the University of Birmingham in 2009. She later studied at East 15 Acting School and moved to Los Angeles. Henstridge made her acting debut in the 2010 short film Easy Under the Apple Bough and the 2011 short film And the Kid. She also appeared in the British soap opera Hollyoaks. In addition to her television work, she has appeared in films such as The Thompsons and Gangs of Tooting Broadway.
