Elizabeth Warren

Elizabeth Warren (born June 22, 1949) is an American politician and former law professor. She has been serving as the senior United States senator from Massachusetts since 2013. Warren is a member of the Democratic Party and is known for her progressive views. Throughout her career, she has focused on consumer protection, equitable economic opportunity, and the social safety net. Before entering politics, Warren taught law at various universities, including the University of Houston, the University of Texas at Austin, the University of Pennsylvania, and Harvard University. She is a respected expert in commercial and bankruptcy law, having authored 12 books and over 100 articles. In the 2020 Democratic Party presidential primaries, Warren finished third.
