Georgann Johnson Biography
Georgann Johnson (born Georgia Anne Johnson, August 15, 1926 – June 4, 2018) was an American stage, film, and television actress. She began her acting career in 1952 and made her Broadway debut in Room Service in 1953 alongside her future husband, Stanley Prager. Johnson appeared in other Broadway productions like Critic's Choice, Drink to Me Only, and Reclining Figure. In films, she had roles in movies such as The Front and Murphy’s Romance, both directed by Martin Ritt. Johnson also had numerous television appearances, showcasing her talent on shows like The Twilight Zone, Gunsmoke, and The Waltons. She passed away on June 4, 2018.
