Joan Jett

Joan Jett (born Joan Marie Larkin, September 22, 1958) is an American rock singer, guitarist, songwriter, record producer, and actress. She gained fame as the frontwoman of her band Joan Jett and the Blackhearts and as a founding member of the Runaways. Known for hits like 'Cherry Bomb', 'I Love Rock 'n Roll', and 'Bad Reputation', Jett has a mezzo-soprano vocal range. She has achieved platinum or gold certifications for three albums. In 2015, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Jett resides in Long Beach, New York and is recognized as a prominent figure in rock music.
