John Sharian Biography
John Sharian is an English actor of Armenian descent. He attended the Taft School and Kenyon College before graduating from the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School in 1991. Sharian began his television career in 1992, appearing in the British sci-fi comedy series Red Dwarf. His film career started in 1994 with his role in Death Machine. He has also appeared in notable films such as The Fifth Element (1997), Saving Private Ryan (1998), and The Machinist (2004). Sharian is a member of the Armenian Dramatic Arts Alliance. He has made various TV show appearances, including Red Dwarf (1992), where he played the character of New Lister.
