Joy Sunday

Joy Sunday (born September 25, 1996) is an American actress known for her performances in television and film. She has appeared in notable television shows such as Dear White People and Wednesday. In film, Sunday has gained recognition for her side roles in Bad Hair, Shithouse, and Dog. Born in Staten Island, New York to a Nigerian family, Sunday studied theater at Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School in New York City before pursuing a degree in critical studies at USC School of Cinematic Arts in Los Angeles. In addition to her academic pursuits, Sunday worked as a filmmaker with Tribeca Film Institute, contributing to several short films. She made her television debut in 2018 on MacGyver and joined the Screen Actors Guild in 2020.
