Karen Fukuhara is an American actress known for her roles in various movies and TV shows. Born on February 10, 1992, in Los Angeles, Fukuhara is of Japanese descent. She gained recognition for her portrayal of Tatsu Yamashiro/Katana in the 2016 superhero film Suicide Squad and as Kimiko Miyashiro/The Female in the Amazon Prime series The Boys. Additionally, she has lent her voice to characters such as Glimmer in She-Ra and the Princesses of Power and Kipo in Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts. Fukuhara has a background in martial arts, having practiced karate since middle school. She attended the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
