Kerry Armstrong Biography
Kerry Michelle Armstrong is an Australian actress and author. Born on September 12, 1958, she gained recognition as one of the two actresses to win two Australian Film Institute Awards in the same year. In 2001, she won Best Actress in a Leading Role for the film Lantana and Best Actress in a Leading Role in a Television Drama for SeaChange. Armstrong began her career with television roles in Australia, including Prisoner and Skyways. She then moved to the United States and appeared in theater productions and the soap opera Dynasty. Returning to Australia in 1987, she continued her acting career with notable roles in MDA and Bed of Roses.
