Mary Berry

Mary Berry, born as Dame Mary Rosa Alleyne Hunnings on 24 March 1935, is an English food writer, chef, baker, and television presenter. She discovered her passion for cooking in domestic science classes and pursued her culinary education at Le Cordon Bleu culinary school in France. With over 75 published cookery books, including the popular Baking Bible in 2009, Berry has become a household name. She has hosted various television series for the BBC and Thames Television and has made guest appearances on Woman's Hour and Saturday Kitchen. Berry is renowned for her role as a judge on the beloved television show, The Great British Bake Off, until 2016.
