Olivia Scott Welch, known professionally as Olivia Welch, is an American actress. She rose to prominence for her portrayal of Samantha 'Sam' Fraser in the Netflix horror film trilogy Fear Street. Welch was born in Hurst, Texas and developed a passion for acting at a young age due to her movie-loving family. She began taking acting classes at the age of 11 and had early television appearances in shows like Agent Carter and Modern Family. After graduating high school, she relocated to California to pursue her acting career. In 2019, Welch landed the lead role in Fear Street, a trilogy that premiered on Netflix in July 2021.
