Pam Tillis is an American country music singer, songwriter, record producer, and actress. Born on July 24, 1957, she is the daughter of country music singer Mel Tillis and the ex-wife of songwriter Bob DiPiero. Tillis initially ventured into pop music in the 1980s with Elektra and Warner Records but later transitioned to country music. Her breakthrough came in 1990 with the album 'Put Yourself in My Place,' which spawned multiple top-40 hits, including 'Don't Tell Me What to Do.' Over the years, Tillis released five more albums, including a greatest hits compilation, and achieved success on the Billboard country music charts with 12 top-10 hits, including the number-one single 'Mi Vida Loca (My Crazy Life).'
