Paula Cale

Paula Cale (born June 2, 1970) is an American actress best known for her role as Joanie Hansen on the television series Providence. She was born Paula Korologos in Great Falls, Virginia. Cale's father, Tom C. Korologos, was a top Capitol Hill lobbyist and served as the US Ambassador to Belgium from 2004 to 2007. Her mother, Joy, was a homemaker and chairwoman of the Fairfax County School Board. Cale attended Langley High School and interned in the Ronald Reagan-era White House. She studied drama at The Theatre School at DePaul University in Chicago, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in acting.
