Rei Hance Biography
Rei Hance, previously known as Heather Donahue, is an American writer, businesswoman, and retired actress. Born on December 22, 1974, in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, Hance is best known for her role in the 1999 film The Blair Witch Project, where she was credited under her birth name. She also portrayed Mary Crawford in the miniseries Taken. Hance graduated from Philadelphia's University of the Arts in 1995 with a BFA in theater and gained experience by performing in productions at the Battersea Arts Centre in London, England. After completing her studies, she appeared in New York stage productions while working as an administrative office temp worker. In 2020, Hance legally changed her name to Rei Hance.
