Rosaline Elbay Biography
Rosaline Elbay (روزالين البيه) is an Egyptian stage and screen actress, producer, and writer. She is best known for her roles as 'Judy Goodwin' on the Netflix series Kaleidoscope, 'Amani' on the Hulu/A24 Films series Ramy, and 'Sara' on the MBC Masr series Qabeel. Born and raised in Cairo to Egyptian parents, Elbay is fluent in English, Arabic, and French. She began her acting career at the age of 11 in a production of The Sound of Music. Elbay pursued her passion for archaeology after being inspired by the film The Mummy. She studied Classics and Archaeology at Oxford University, followed by an MFA in Acting at LAMDA. Elbay started her career in UK theater and later transitioned to film and television.
