Sebastian Koch
Sebastian Koch (born 31 May 1962) is a German television and film actor. He gained recognition for his role in the Academy Award-winning film The Lives of Others (2007) and Steven Spielberg's Bridge of Spies. Koch also appeared as Otto Düring in the fifth season of the Showtime series Homeland. He studied at the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich from 1982 to 1985, and has since played a variety of roles on stage. Notable theatre performances include Peer Gynt, Leonce in Leonce and Lena, Roller in The Robbers, and Orest in Iphigenie auf Tauris. Koch's passion for acting was influenced by artistic director Claus Peymann in the late 1970s.
