Shane McDermott

Shane McDermott (born February 18, 1992) is a former American football center who played in the National Football League for the Carolina Panthers, New York Giants, and Dallas Cowboys. McDermott attended Palm Beach Central High School where he received several honors for his performance as a center. He went on to play college football at the University of Miami, where he started as a backup in his redshirt freshman year and later became a starter for the team. McDermott played a total of 48 college games, starting in 36 of them. After his college career, he went on to have a brief NFL career before retiring.
