Stacy Galina

Stacy Galina (born September 24, 1966) is an American jeweler and former actress. She gained recognition for her roles as Kate Whittaker and Mary-Frances Sumner in the CBS prime time soap opera Knots Landing. Galina was born in Baltimore, Maryland, and studied dance at the School of American Ballet and American Ballet Theatre in New York. She danced with the Atlanta Ballet for three years before pursuing an acting career. Galina made her screen debut in the 1989 comedy film Big Man on Campus and later appeared in the David Jacobs' series Paradise. She joined the regular cast of Knots Landing as Kate Whittaker for the final three seasons of the show.
