Taj Atwal

Taj Atwal is a British actress known for her appearances in various TV shows and dramas. Born in Norwich to an Indian family, Atwal moved to York at a young age. She began her acting career by participating in stage productions at Easingwold School. At the age of 16, she had to leave her home and lived with volunteers from the homeless charity SASH. Atwal attended York College from 2004 to 2007, where she obtained distinctions in National Award in Dance and Performing Arts. She later studied at Guildford School of Acting. Some of her notable TV show appearances include Stella, In the Club, Line of Duty, The Syndicate, and Hullraisers.
