Troy Garity Biography
Troy Garity (born July 7, 1973) is an American actor known for his roles in movies and TV shows. He gained recognition for his portrayal of Isaac in the Barbershop film series and Barry Winchell in the television movie Soldier's Girl (2003), for which he received a nomination for a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor – Miniseries or Television Film. Garity also had recurring roles in the series Boss (2011–2012) and Ballers (2015–2019). Born in Los Angeles, California, Garity is the son of actress/activist Jane Fonda and activist/politician Tom Hayden. His last name comes from his paternal grandmother. Garity has a half-sister, Vanessa Vadim, who is a director and cinematographer. He is the grandson of Frances Ford Seymour and actor Henry Fonda, and a nephew of actor Peter Fonda, with actress Bridget Fonda as one of his cousins. Garity's heritage includes Irish, Dutch, English, French, German, and Irish ancestry.
