Aaron Harris (born November 11, 1977) is an American musician and composer. He is best known for his career as the drummer for Los Angeles-based post-metal band Isis, from 1997 to 2010. Since the band's dissolution, Harris has focused on his work as a composer and producer. His compositions have been featured in projects for notable companies including A24, Warner Bros., Universal, Disney, Lionsgate, Netflix, NBC, Red Bull, and Samsung. As a producer, Harris has worked on records for various artists such as Palms, Puscifer, Team Sleep, Pelican, Zozobra, Spotlights, Huey, Jakob, and The Jezabels. Harris developed his drumming skills through self-teaching and drew influences from Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Emerson, Lake & Palmer, The Police, Melvins, Neurosis, and Bill Bruford.
