Aaron Joseph Biography
Aaron Joseph (born 4 July 1989) is an Australian rules footballer who played as a midfielder for the Carlton Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He began his football career playing for the Glenorchy Football Club and the Tassie Mariners in Tasmania. In 2007, he represented Tasmania at the AFL Under 18 Championships and was named in the Under 18s All-Australian Team. Although he was not drafted in the 2007 AFL National Draft, Joseph was selected by Carlton with their first pick in the 2008 Rookie Draft. He made his debut for Carlton in 2009, playing mainly in a defensive role and impressing with his performance against Gary Ablett Jr. of Geelong.
