Abraham Ancer

Abraham Ancer (born 27 February 1991) is a Mexican-American professional golfer. He played on the PGA Tour and is currently playing on the LIV Golf tour. Ancer won the 2018 Emirates Australian Open and the 2021 WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational, marking his first PGA Tour career victory. He was born in McAllen, Texas, and raised partially in Reynosa, Mexico. Ancer holds dual American and Mexican citizenship. He attended Sharyland High School in Mission, Texas, and played college golf at Odessa College and the University of Oklahoma, graduating in 2013 with a degree in General Studies. Ancer turned professional in 2013.
