Adam Bennett
Adam Bennett (born March 30, 1971) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman and coach. He played junior hockey with the Sudbury Wolves of the OHL and was selected 6th overall by the Chicago Blackhawks in the 1989 NHL Entry Draft. After two more years in junior, Bennett turned professional and played for the Indianapolis Ice of the IHL. He then split time between the IHL and NHL for two seasons before joining the Edmonton Oilers for the 1993-94 NHL season, where he played a career-high 48 games. Bennett concluded his professional hockey career with the Cape Breton Oilers of the AHL and the Richmond Renegades of the ECHL. Bennett later transitioned to coaching, joining the Mississauga Ice Dogs of the OHL.
