Adam Fleischman

Adam Fleischman (born 1970) is an American restaurateur and founder of the Umami Burger chain. He was born in Queens, New York and raised in Silver Spring, Maryland. Fleischman graduated from the University of Maryland with a liberal arts degree. After moving to Los Angeles in 1998, he opened wine bars BottleRock and Vinoteque. In 2009, Fleischman founded Umami Burger, which now has over 20 locations across the US, Japan, and the Bahamas. In 2012, he partnered with chef Anthony Carron to launch 800 Degrees Pizza. Fleischman's entrepreneurial ventures have made a significant impact on the culinary scene, and his brands continue to thrive in the restaurant industry.
