Adam John Morrison (born July 19, 1984) is an American former professional basketball player. Known for his time at Gonzaga University, Morrison was highly regarded as one of the top college basketball players in the 2005-2006 season. He was a finalist for the Naismith and Wooden Awards, and was named Co-Player of the Year alongside Duke's JJ Redick by the United States Basketball Writers Association. In 2006, he also won the Chevrolet Player of the Year award. Morrison played for the Charlotte Bobcats from 2006 to 2009, and for the L.A. Lakers from 2009 to 2010. Prior to his basketball career, Morrison's family moved around due to his father's coaching career before settling in Spokane, Washington.
