Adam Murray Biography
Adam David Murray (born September 30, 1981) is an English football manager and former professional footballer. He played as a creative midfielder and had a successful 17-year playing career in the Premier League, Football League, and Football Conference. Murray made his Premier League debut in April 1999 for Derby County, where he played 62 games in six seasons, including 32 matches in the Premier League. Throughout his career, he struggled with alcoholism and sought treatment at the Priory Hospital. Murray had loan spells at Mansfield Town and Kidderminster Harriers before leaving Derby in November 2003. He played for Notts County, Burton Albion, and Kidderminster Harriers before joining Mansfield Town and eventually moving to Carlisle United in March 2005, where he helped the team win promotion back into the Football League.
