Adam Thomas

Adam Thomas, born on August 11, 1988, is an English actor known for his roles in popular television shows. He gained recognition for portraying Donte Charles in the BBC One series Waterloo Road from 2006 to 2009 and again in 2023. Thomas also played Adam Barton in the ITV soap opera Emmerdale from 2009 to 2018. In addition to his acting career, he has appeared as a contestant on popular reality shows such as I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! in 2016 and Strictly Come Dancing in 2023. Thomas was born in Salford, Greater Manchester, and is the twin brother of Love Island contestant Scott Thomas and younger brother of Coronation Street actor Ryan Thomas. He has a diverse heritage, with English, Indian, and Caribbean roots.
