Aisha Alfa Biography
Aisha Alfa is a Canadian comedian and actress known for her recurring role as Ms. Grell in the Degrassi franchise and her appearances on The Beaverton. Born in Nigeria and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, she is also recognized as the sister of musician Ismaila Alfa. Aisha's passion for comedy led her to win Winnipeg's 'Funniest Person with a Day Job' comedy competition in 2011. She has appeared in films such as An American Girl: McKenna Shoots for the Stars, My Awkward Sexual Adventure, and Euphoria. Aisha was a regular panelist on MuchMusic's Video on Trial and joined CBC Television's Royal Canadian Air Farce New Year's Eve specials in 2014. She has also showcased her talent in TV series like Opie's Home, Sorry for Your Loss, and Coop & Cami Ask.
