Al Mitchell, born Albert Edwin Mitchell on August 30, 1897, was a professional American football player known for his time with the Buffalo Bisons in 1924. Mitchell played as a tailback, center, and end during his six-game career. He attended Thiel College and was born in Greenville, Pennsylvania. Sadly, Mitchell passed away on May 12, 1967, in Livonia, New York.
