Al Roberts Biography
Al Roberts (born January 6, 1944) is an American football coach. He is currently serving as the special teams, running backs, and outside linebackers coach for O'Dea High School in Seattle, Washington. Roberts attended Merced High School in Merced, California and played college football at the University of Washington and the University of Puget Sound. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Puget Sound. Roberts started his coaching career at Mercer Island High School and then became the head coach at Garfield High School. He later joined the Los Angeles Express of the USFL and the Houston Oilers as a running backs coach. Roberts also had stints on the college staffs at Purdue University and the University of Illinois.
