    Alan Smyth is an English record producer from Sheffield, England. He has worked with numerous bands, including Pulp, Arctic Monkeys, Reverend and The Makers, and Richard Hawley, among others. Smyth is known for his work at his own studio, 2fly Studios, where he produces and collaborates with various artists. Prior to his career as a record producer, Smyth was a member of the Indie C&W outfit, Don Valley & The Rotherhides, and also played guitar and provided backing vocals for the Sheffield guitar band Seafruit. Additionally, Seafruit's single 'Looking For Sparks' was featured on Sky Sports' football coverage. Smyth's contributions to the music industry have made him a respected figure in the field.
