Alex Lange

Alex Lange, born on October 2, 1995, is an American professional baseball pitcher currently playing for the Detroit Tigers in Major League Baseball (MLB). He began his baseball career playing for Louisiana State University (LSU) where he earned recognition as a consensus All-American in his freshman year and helped lead LSU to the College World Series. Lange was adopted as a baby and attended Lee's Summit West High School in Missouri, where he excelled academically with a 4.0 weighted GPA. In 2017, he was drafted by the Chicago Cubs with the 30th pick in the first round of the MLB draft.
