Alexander Dreymon

Alexander Dreymon, born Alexander Doetsch on 7 February 1983, is a German actor known for his portrayal of Uhtred of Bebbanburg in the popular television series The Last Kingdom (2015–2022). He also appeared in Christopher and His Kind (2011) and American Horror Story: Coven (2013–2014). Dreymon's talent extends beyond acting, as he is fluent in German, English, and French. Born in Germany, Dreymon grew up in the United States, France, and Switzerland. With a passion for acting since childhood, he trained at Drama Centre London for three years after studying in Paris. Dreymon's journey in the entertainment industry began with stage performances in London and Paris before making his screen debut in the French drama Ni reprise, ni échangée, and later appearing alongside Matt Smith in the British film Christopher and His Kind.
