Alexandra Harris

Alexandra Harris is a British writer and academic, born in 1981. She is known for her work as a professor in English at the University of Liverpool from 2007 to 2017. In 2017, Harris became a Professorial Fellow at the University of Birmingham. Her notable literary works include Romantic Moderns, which explores modernism in inter-war Britain, and Weatherland, a book on weather in English art and literature. Additionally, Harris has authored a short biography on Virginia Woolf. In recognition of her contributions, she was appointed a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature in 2014.
