Alison Fiske Biography
Alison Mary Fiske (2 August 1943 – 26 July 2020) was an English actress known for her work in both theatre and television. She gained recognition for her portrayal of Fish in the play Dusa, Fish, Stats and Vi, which earned her the Actress of the Year in a New Play award at the 1977 Laurence Olivier Awards. Fiske was also nominated for Best Actress in a Supporting Role at the 1979 Laurence Olivier Awards for her performance as Evie in For Services Rendered. In addition to her stage work, she received acclaim for her role in the television series Helen: A Woman of Today. Fiske was born in Bedford and trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama. She passed away on 26 July 2020 at the age of 76.
