Allan Lichtman

Allan Jay Lichtman is an American historian and professor at American University in Washington, D.C. He is best known for creating the Keys to the White House model with Soviet seismologist Vladimir Keilis-Borok in 1981. This model accurately predicts whether the presidential candidate of the incumbent party will win or lose the next election based on 13 true/false criteria. Lichtman has successfully predicted the winner of every U.S. presidential election since 1984, except for 2000. In addition to his work in academia, Lichtman ran for the U.S. Senate seat from Maryland in 2006. He is also the author of 'The Case for Impeachment,' a book published in 2017 that presents arguments for the impeachment of Donald Trump.
