Allen Raymond
Allen Raymond is a former Republican political consultant in the United States. He gained notoriety for his involvement in the 2002 New Hampshire Senate election phone jamming scandal, which resulted in his conviction for making harassing phone calls across state lines. Raymond served three months in federal prison for his role in the scandal. He is also known as the author of the book 'How to Rig an Election: Confessions of a Republican Operative' (2008). Raymond was approached by his colleague James Tobin to tie up the phones of New Hampshire Democrats during the close Senate race between John E. Sununu and Jeanne Shaheen. Raymond owned a Virginia-based GOP phone-bank company (GOP Marketplace) at the time.
