Amaka Okafor Biography
Amaka Okafor, also known as Sally Amaka Okafor, is an English actress known for her work in theatre and film. She was born in Birmingham to a Nigerian reggae artist father and an Indian journalist mother and grew up moving around the UK. Okafor studied theatre devising at Liverpool John Moores University and began her career touring community theatre in schools, prisons, and churches. She was a member of the Unicorn Theatre ensemble in London for two years. Okafor made her West End theatre debut in Florian Zeller's The Son and has appeared in productions such as Peter Pan and Macbeth at the National Theatre. She has also appeared in the film Greatest Days and the TV series The Responder and Bodies.
