Amy Holmes

Amy Mulenga Holmes (born July 25, 1973) is a Zambian-born American journalist and political commentator. She co-hosts the politically conservative-oriented talk show 'In Principle' on PBS, alongside Michael Gerson. Holmes has made appearances as a news anchor on Glenn Beck's 'TheBlaze TV' and hosted 'Real News,' a news discussion program on TheBlaze. She also hosted 'Way Too Early' on MSNBC and served as an independent political contributor for CNN and Fox News. Holmes has appeared multiple times on 'Real Time with Bill Maher.' Born in Lusaka, Zambia, she was raised in Seattle, Washington. Holmes holds a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Princeton University.
