Amy Mack
Amy Eleanor Mack (6 June 1876 - 4 November 1939) was an Australian writer, journalist, and editor. Born in Port Adelaide, she was the honorary secretary of the National Council of Women of New South Wales. Mack is best known as a children's author, with notable works including 'Bushland Stories' (1910) and 'Scribbling Sue' (1914). She also worked as a journalist and editor for the Sydney Morning Herald. Mack was born into a large family and moved frequently due to her father's work as a Wesleyan minister. She passed away on 4 November 1939 in Sydney.
