Amy Walsh
Amy Heather Walsh (born September 13, 1977) is a former midfielder for the Canada women's national soccer team. From 1997 to 2009, she played 102 matches for the national team. In May 2017, Walsh was inducted into the Canadian Soccer Hall of Fame. She attended the University of Nebraska, where she earned recognition as an All-Conference and All-Central Region player. Walsh played professionally for the Atlanta Beat of Women's United Soccer Association, as well as the Montreal Xtreme and Laval Comets of the American W-League. She participated in the 2008 Olympics and the Women's World Cup in 1999 and 2007. Walsh's sister, Cindy Walsh, was also a member of the Canadian women's team.
