Anatol Yusef Biography
Anatol Yusef is an English stage, film, and television actor, writer, and director. Born in Barking, East London, Yusef is best known for his work at The Royal Shakespeare Company, his portrayal of Meyer Lansky in the television series Boardwalk Empire, and Channel 4's Southcliffe. As a teenager, he appeared in television shows such as Jeeves and Wooster, Grange Hill, and The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles. He also had roles in the films Batman and Aliens (director's cut). Yusef received high marks in GCSE and A-Level Drama studies, earning him a scholarship for Acting School. He trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and worked on the show Thief Takers during his training. He was also a finalist in the BBC Carleton Hobbs Radio Award. In 2000, Yusef made his debut in Fred Schepisi's film Last Orders, playing the younger self of Bob Hoskins' character.
