Andrea Hays

Andrea Hays is an American actress, producer, screenwriter, costume designer, and nurse. She gained recognition for her portrayal of Heidi in the television series Twin Peaks, appearing in both the original 1990 series and the 2017 revival, Twin Peaks: The Return. Hays also appeared in the 1992 prequel movie Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me and Twin Peaks: The Missing Pieces. Her portrayal of Heidi in every filmed incarnation of Twin Peaks made her a notable figure in the series. In 2020, Entertainment Weekly highlighted Hays's character and laugh as one of the best moments of the original pilot episode. Hays's role in Twin Peaks added bookends to the series, appearing in the first and last episodes, which are highly regarded by fans.
